About The Bramble

The Bramble is a fully restored historic building, formerly known as A.R. Brown’s, one of the first department stores. This premier venue has proudly served Erwin and the neighboring communities since 2015. As part of a redevelopment project in downtown Erwin, The Bramble is nestled off of I-26 and is easily accessible to East Tennessee and Western North Carolina guests. The restoration of the building brings the largest, nostalgic event venue to Erwin, Tennessee.

The space features original hardwood floors from 1910, 16-foot-high stunning tin ceilings and exposed brick. Your guests can relax in our cozy lounge areas with beautiful vintage furniture and a functional piano. A feature wall with mirrors and plants and lighted greenery across the back wall brings a little of the outdoors inside. The timeless architectural elements allow you to personalize the space to your style. The space has an expansive footprint, comfortably holding up to 150 seated guests.

We are non-exclusive vendor venue, allowing you to work with any of your favorite industry professionals. It takes a village of talented professionals to plan and execute a beautiful event and we are happy to offer vendor referrals and other planning tools to assist you in meeting the needs of your event.
